From prototype to volume production, Senar Precision works closely with its customer’s, providing key engineering support through every phase of concept design and product development. To help take the HUD (above) from initial drawings, to fully-functioning prototype, we advised at each stage on design, tolerances and manufacturing methods, in addition to providing full CAD/CAM services and making project specific investment in a state of the art 5 axis machining centre.
Senar have also provided specialist machining services in support of Large Hadron Collider at Cern, the Mars Rover and ESA satellite programme and continue to work with some of the leading names in aerospace, science & technology .
Throughout 2016 Senar have been supplying precision components and critical sub-assemblies as part of a multi-million dollar wing assembly line for a global aircraft tooling manufacturer. Parts and assemblies typically had accumulated tolerance limit of microns requiring high degree of accuracy and complex machining solutions. Extensive use of in house MRP system to plan and control manufacturing allowed customer complete visibility across entire project and ultimately helped us to deliver zero defect parts exactly to schedule
Our extensive range of CNC machines means that Senar are also able to produce larger, heavy duty precision parts for high volume automated manufacturing applications. 2.00M bed machining centres and PC-DMIS CMM, together with dedicated programming and tooling engineers, allow Senar to deliver repeat components for deployment into a range demanding production environments.
